Mining pit with its benches eroding and mining waste dumped into mounds behind the pit piled up for kilometer at stretch is now covered by fresh greens.  Impounded brilliant blue sterile water unfit for use is pumped into fields for irrigation.  The mining belt, runs for several kilometers in the middle of forests and fields, is responsible for loss of biodiversity.
