Shot at 150 feet above the ground using a drone the swanky green swamp homes the dead mangrove trees at Santa Cruz, Goa. When shot directly from above, bone-dry mangrove forests, sun-baked under the direct rays of sun look like an abstract painting against the green pigment from algae on brackish waters of wetlands. Disposal of building waste into the mangrove forests inhibits free flow of water into the mangroves. Algae growth reduces the oxygen in waters leading to the death of mangroves.
